How CRYSVITA works

What is CRYSVITA?

CRYSVITA is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23)-related hypophosphatemia in tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO) in adults and children 2 years of age or older when the tumor, which leads the body to release too much phosphate, cannot be located or removed.

How CRYSVITA impacts phosphorus in TIO

CRYSVITA works to raise the amount of phosphorus in the blood by decreasing
FGF23 levels.

This helps restore phosphorus reabsorption in the kidneys

Phosphorus can then be deposited into the bones
